Time to vote for the
community-selected brews of
Geeks & Grounds 2025!

Why Ranked Choice?

Ranked choice voting is a system that allows participants to vote FOR the items they want rather than against. In using this method to gather community input what you all want to spend time playing and discussing in 2025, this allows for the titles the community is most excited about to be represented in the coming year.

Wait, but aren’t there 12 months in a year? Why are we ranking our top 6 games?

I like to keep 6 titles as hand-curated by me for this club! This allows me a bit of flexibility in selecting games that are surprise drops or perhaps run under the radar from the wider community.

Don’t worry though: I see all the votes come through, and all the suggestions, and I do take those into account as I curate the remaining 6 monthly titles for the year.

What if a game is too short/too long to fit in a month?

We’re going to try out a few things next year based on your feedback! One is to explore a longer-play or more esoteric title on the side, having that as a quarterly title, rather than monthly, for those who are interested. Shorter games (many of which were suggested via email and Discord) have largely not been included here as I’ll be fitting them in as 1-shots throughout the year. I’ll have further details (and the schedule) once voting for our monthly titles is through (approx Dec. 16 - 20, 2024).

Wait, I’ve got some more questions!
