Sitting with a friend in a café and sharing thoughts about what we’ve been playing over a cup (or two) of coffee is one of my favorite pastimes. That, coupled with my love of facilitating discussion and fostering communities, has led to a long-time goal of creating a book club, but for video games!

Geeks & Grounds is the name of the club, but this club has expanded beyond the original newsletter concept. It now includes a podcast, Discord community, written game coverage, thoughtful let’s plays and joyful livestreams. It represents a community of people who care about games, the people who make them, and the impact of what - and how - we play on our lives.
